We had a great time in school the last week and a half doing fun things with turkeys, pumpkin pie, and all things Thanksgiving! We have been working on learning that vowels have two sounds and reading and writing CVC words (i.e. cat, mop). We wrote about who we would like to invite to Thanksgiving dinner and why. We labeled a turkey and practiced sentence writing with what we were thankful for and what we could eat for Thanksgiving dinner. In math, we worked on subtraction, positional words, and practiced our addition facts. Enjoy the pictures!
