Living and Non-Living & Earth Day

This week we reviewed the four 3D shapes that we learned last week in lots of fun ways.  We also talked about what makes something living or non-living in science.  On Wednesday, we celebrated Earth Day and made a fun project and wrote about what we would do to help the Earth.  Enjoy the pictures!

Rainbows and 3D Shapes!

This week, we continued to celebrate spring with some rainbow activities.  We made rainbows and wrote things that are each color in the rainbow.  We also wrote our own rainbow poems and did a fun rainbow art project.  We enjoyed reading, "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" and loved writing our own versions of the story.  Center time was filled with spring-themed extra practice!  We also learned the about four 3D shapes: spheres, cones, cubes, and cylinders.  We loved bringing in show-and-tell items that were the shape of the day.  And we also got to eat a little snack or treat each day that was the shape as well.  Enjoy the pictures!
