Adjectives, Bus Safety, Communities, and the Hoedown!

This week was so busy for us!  We learned words with the short e sound in spelling.  We learned all about adjectives and how they make our writing and words more interesting.  We also figured out how to put words in alphabetical order.  In math, we had such a fun time learning how to count on from a number.  This was a life-changing skill for some of us!  :)  We also discussed communities and wrote about why we like living in Herriman.  We learned what kind of people and places make a community special and even drew some maps!  We also had a special bus safety assembly and we even got to go on a bus!  On Friday, we had the Fun Run Hoedown and it was great seeing some of our class there!  Enjoy the pictures! 

Verbs, Short o, and the Fun Run

This week we learned all about verbs, worked on words with the short o sound, and learned about multiple meaning words.  In math we worked on addition equations and story problems.  We ended the week working with our buddies on our spelling words and doing our Fun Run!  Enjoy the pictures!
