Silent E!

This week, we focused on learning about the silent e.  Silent e makes no sound...but changes the vowel sound in a word.  We made magic wands and transformed words with a "Magic e."  We made ninja masks and went around spelling words "like a ninja" after watching a fun song called "Silent e is a ninja."  We also watched another song about "Super e" and then used our super spelling powers to transform words into something new.  We did many activities to practice our new silent e skills during centers in addition to other fun things!  We also had some more fun with St. Patrick's Day during center time!  Enjoy the pictures!
