Summer

This week we got excited for summer to be here soon by doing lots of fun summertime projects and centers. We enjoyed writing summer "bucket lists" and listed all the things we want to do this summer. We even got to use sand paint to put in our buckets! We whipped up some ice cream paint and wrote poems about ice cream. We made sandcastles using shapes. We learned our last new literacy skill of breaking words into syllables. Enjoy the pictures!

Ocean Animals

This week we had a lot of fun learning about different sea creatures! We read the story of the rainbow fish and made our own fish with shiny scales! We learned about sea turtles and had fun making our own sea turtle craft. We enjoyed making a watercolor aquarium and doing math with seashells. We had some ninth graders come to our school to practice teaching a lesson as well. Enjoy the pictures!
