Rainbows

The week before spring break, we celebrated spring with some fun rainbow activities!  We made beautiful rainbows by tearing paper pieces up and wrote a poem about our favorite color of the rainbow to go along with our art project. We also enjoyed making rainbows and writing something we learned about the science of rainbows. We also made 3D rainbows and wrote a color poem. We also had fun seeing that the leprechaun left us some treats over the weekend! Enjoy the pictures!

St. Patrick's Day

We had a fun holiday week celebrating St. Patrick's Day!  Our activities had lots of shamrocks, leprechauns, and gold!  We wrote about who was worth more to us than gold.  We made leprechauns and wrote about when we feel lucky.  And we wrote about what our luckiest day would be like.  We also came up with plans to trap a leprechaun. We had so much fun sharing those ideas with our friends! The highlights of our week included making leprechaun traps with cups and seeing that they were turned into mini leprechaun hats the next morning. They even had a token for the treasure tower in the office under them! We also had the best time building a giant leprechaun trap with my son Carson (white shirt) and his friend (blue shirt), for one of their BYU class requirements. The kids had so much fun and I appreciate all the fun supplies you sent in. and Enjoy the pictures!
