This week we had so much fun learning about the life cycles of certain animals. We focused on butterflies, frogs, chickens, and ladybugs. The kids thought it was magical and we learned that it is nature - just like how we grow without having to think about it. We also did some animal themed centers and math. We learned lots of new vocabulary and worked on sentence writing and labeling. Have the kids teach you something they learned this week! Enjoy the pictures!
This week we had fun celebrating the season of spring! We painted umbrellas and boots and wrote what we like to do when it rains. We wrote our own version of "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs." We focused on writing a beginning, middle, and end. The kids came up with stories like Cloudy With a Chance of Pizza, Ice Cream, Cake, and more! Our favorite part was sharing our stories with each other. We read a story about a bluebird and wrote about the beginning, middle, and end of that story. We made a cute bluebird project to go along with it. Our favorite thing was reading the story, "Little Cloud" where a cloud decides to change into the shape of real-life objects. We mixed up our own cloud paint and enjoyed making our own cloud picture. In math, we worked on learning the names of four 3D shapes. We loved having show and tell every day. Enjoy the pictures!
