Short oo and Easter Fun!

This week we studied the short oo sound, (like in book and good).  We had fun using two o's to make a picture of a short oo word.  We turned our creative pages into a class book that the kids enjoy looking at.  Since it was Easter this week, we had some fun activities to go along with that.  We did some Easter egg centers, Easter math games, and also made an egg for a pretend Easter egg contest.  We painted umbrellas and wrote about our favorite thing to do in the rain.  We read the book, "Duck! Rabbit!" and decided if we thought it looked like a duck or rabbit and wrote about why.  We also learned how to draw the Easter bunny and filled out an Easter Bunny application.  We had a dance assembly this week and will be getting a special class session with the presenters on Tuesday this week during our PE time.  Enjoy the pictures!
