Bossy R, American Symbols, and Jump-A-Thon

This week we focused on the Bossy R.  We learned that Bossy R likes to boss the vowels around.  He doesn't like them to say their normal sounds.  We made a fun class book, played games, and even made our own Bossy R!  We also studied American Symbols this week and learned more about the Statue of Liberty, the Liberty Bell, the flag, the bald eagle, and the White House.  On Thursday, we had a Jump-A-Thon to support our American Heart Association fundraiser.  I hope you all enjoyed your break!  See you tomorrow and enjoy the pictures!  :)
