Ai and Ay, 100 Day, and Sun and Moon

This week we had a lot of fun together!  For phonics and spelling, we focused on the ai and ay sounds in words.  We painted rain drops with ai words and did some other fun games and sorts too.  We also learned more about days of the week, months of the year, and holidays.  We practiced making sure we always give them a capital letter!  In math we worked on adding and subtracting 10 from numbers.  Wednesday was our 100th day of school!  We had a fun day filled with activities all about the number 100.  We made pictures with the number 100, made a class book with 100 animals, and also made pictures of ourselves when we are 100 years old!  We had a great time learning about the sun and the moon in science.  We made some really fun art projects and learned all sorts of facts!  Enjoy the pictures!
