Weather, Earth Day, and Living & Non-Living
This week, we did some fun weather activities! We enjoyed making rainbows and writing something that is each color of the rainbow on them. We celebrated Earth Day and made a fun project
and wrote about what we would do to help the Earth. We also talked about what makes something living or non-living in
science. In art, the kids made some beautiful butterflies! Enjoy the pictures!

Bunny and Spring Fun
This week we returned from spring break and continued our Easter-themed fun! We wrote our own version of "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs." We focused on writing a beginning, middle, and end. They came up with stories like Cloudy With a Chance of Pizza, Ice Cream, Carrots, and more! Our favorite part was sharing our stories with each other. We also learned how to draw the Easter bunny and then wrote what we would do if we got to be the Easter bunny. The kids had some great ideas! We made a class book where we turned a Peep into something new - the Peeps became things like Spiderman, a dog, and a butterfly. We also wrote what our favorite part about spring is. In math, we reviewed partners of 10, adding numbers together, counting larger quantities, and 3D shapes! And centers was filled with lots of Easter and springtime fun. Enjoy the pictures!
