This week, we did some fun Easter-themed activities. We had fun using plastic eggs for math and literacy practice and doing some centers with carrots and bunnies. We made a flip-book about something that was an egg shape, but not an egg! We got to do some fun painting with Peep paint. We turned a Peep into something else, like a ninja, skunk, or flower for a class book. We read the book "Duck! Rabbit!" and decided for ourselves whether we thought the picture in the book looked like a duck or rabbit and then wrote about it. We also learned how to draw the Easter bunny and wrote what we would like to do if we were the Easter bunny. In math, we focused positional words and story problems. We even went on an egg hunt around our classroom and solved equations that were inside the eggs. Enjoy the pictures!
