This week was short and sweet, but we had a good time and got back into the swing of things at school! We did some fun winter learning games at centers where we got to feed penguins food by listening to the vowel sound and we went ice fishing with math facts. We learned the "ch" sound and made an axe so we could go around the room and chop some logs while learning words that started with that sound. We also learned about penguins and practiced writing sentences about them. In math, we began our unit on teen numbers. Enjoy the pictures!
