This week we read several versions of the Gingerbread Man story. We had fun comparing and contrasting the different stories! We made a class gingerbread man book, decorated gingerbread men to look like something new, and thought of a plan to trap a gingerbread man. We wrote ways we thought the gingerbread man could escape and get away. And we learned the -an word family, (words like man and ran). Our favorite thing was tasting a real gingerbread man cookie! In math, we did some story problems, learned more about triangles and hexagons, and practiced positional words. We loved putting up our Santa projects. Enjoy the pictures!
