This week, we did some fun Easter-themed activities. We had fun using plastic eggs for math and literacy practice and doing some centers with carrots and bunnies. We made a craft of the Easter bunny getting stuck and wrote about how we would get him out. (Answers included things like shovels, plungers, and rope)! We also got to do some fun painting with Peep paint! We also turned a Peep into something else, like a ninja, skunk, or flower for a class book. We read the book "Duck! Rabbit!" and decided for ourselves whether we thought the picture in the book looked like a duck or rabbit and then wrote about it. In math, we focused on subtraction all week. We did subtraction with cookies, dominoes, buttons, and monster eyeballs. Enjoy the pictures!
