We had a great time in school the last week and a half doing fun things
with turkeys, pumpkin pie, and all things Thanksgiving! We have been
working on vowel sounds, reading CVC words (i.e. cat, mop), b and d reversals, and we
learned about syllables in words with Syllable Sam! We wrote about who we would like to
invite to Thanksgiving dinner and why. We labeled a turkey and
practiced sentence writing with what we were thankful for. In math, we
worked on counting objects to 20, recognizing numbers to 20, triangles, solving
story problems, comparing numbers, and solving equations. We did a few art projects
in-between and loved our STEM day where we constructed our own Mayflower ships and tested them out in the water! Enjoy the pictures!
