The Gingerbread Man

This week we read several versions of the Gingerbread Man story.  We had fun comparing and contrasting the different stories!  We ate gingerbread men and wrote about the order of how we ate them.  We also graphed our results - most kids liked to bite the legs off first!  We wrote words to describe how gingerbread men tasted.  We labeled a gingerbread man.  And we learned the -an word family, (words like man and ran).  In math, we focused on learning what the teen numbers are.  We learned they always start with a one.  We loved the Santas that came in and they look so great out in the hallway near our classroom!  Thank you for your help with them!  Enjoy the pictures!
