Amphibians, L-Blends, and Turkey Disguises!

We got right back to work this week!  In literacy, we worked on learning the l-blends.  We also learned more about editing our own writing and checking for capitals, spaces, periods, and that it makes sense.  We also worked on mapping out the sequence in stories.  In math, we started a new unit about missing partners in story problems and equations.  This is a little tricky for us, so we will keep working on it for the next couple of weeks!  In science, we studied another animal group, the amphibians.  We did a fun writing activity about having a pet salamander and also studied frogs and toads more in depth.  On Friday, we worked with our buddies to disguise a turkey.  Look for them in the hallway when you come for conferences this week!  Enjoy the pictures!
