Mammals, Sentences, and Subtraction

This week was busy as we worked to write complete sentences using nouns, verbs, and adjectives.  The kids had a lot of fun as we made silly sentences up and also wrote sentences about silly pictures.  They are becoming quite the writers!  We worked hard on subtraction and practiced drawing pictures to represent story problems and also learned how to write matching equations.  Subtraction is a lot more tricky for us than addition, so keep encouraging and helping them at home!  In science, we worked on learning about mammals and the kids are experts now!  Ask them what makes a mammal a mammal and see how much they know!  :)  Enjoy the pictures!
