Winter Clothes

We finished up our last week of January by doing some learning activities about winter clothes!  Here are some pictures of our week!

We learned all about the WH sound this week.  We filled WHeelbarrows with words that began with the WH sound.

In math, we worked on writing teen number equations.  We are learning to see them as a group of tens, plus ones.

We also learned about plurals and how they mean more than one and we add an s.  (They will learn about -es and the irregular plurals in later grades).  :)

We also had two of our great mom volunteers come in and teach us more about Vincent Van Gogh.  We recreated a painting of his using oil pastels and had a great time!
