Halloween!

Halloween might just be one of the best weeks in elementary school!  We had such a great time learning this week with spiders, skeletons, ghosts, candy corns, eyeballs, spooky trees, monsters and more!
 

We read the book, "Go Away Big Green Monster."

Then we made our own big green monsters and wrote words to describe them.

We also wrote about our fun Halloween costumes:

In math, we learned about hexagons.





Learning about Halloween safety from our buddies in 3rd grade:

We had our first "Great Artist" lesson and project!  This month, we learned about Georges Braque and his mosaic "Two Birds."
We recreated this art piece on our own!

Then the BIG day finally came!!  Here are tons of pictures of the costumes and our fun parties.  Thank you to all the moms and dads who came in to help!
