Pumpkins

This week we did some fun things with pumpkins!  We matched capital and lowercase letters, listened for beginning sounds in words, and wrote about pumpkins.  In math, we focused on representing numbers with ten frames.  We used our fun pumpkin trays to do that!  We also learned about the pumpkin life cycle and made our own book about it.  We hunted for words in the "-in" word family.  Enjoy the pictures!

Halloween

What a super week in kindergarten!  We had so much fun learning while celebrating Halloween!  We had a great time with eyeballs, skeletons, candy corns, and spiders.  We made our own "Big, Green Monster" and worked on writing describing words.  We also drew ourselves in our costumes and wrote describing words about ourselves.  We had a fabulous time on Monday with parades and parties!  Thanks to all the parents who planned, prepped, and came to help!  I couldn't do it without you!  Enjoy the pictures!
