We had a great time learning with apples this week! We read Dr. Seuss'
"Ten Apples Up on Top" and glued apples on top of our heads and
practiced writing the numbers 1-5. We taste-tested and then voted on
our favorite color of apple: red, yellow, or green. We wrote our
favorite kind of apple on a paper! We worked on informational writing
and
made a word web about apples. We learned the parts of an apple and enjoyed cutting an apple open to find the "star" that contained the seeds. We also talked about an apple's life cycle. We
made apples with
play-doh as we practiced counting quantities and learned all about
positional words. Enjoy the pictures!
