The week before we went out for fall break, we had fun learning about bats! We read some informational books and practiced listening for facts and then we wrote some of our own facts. We made a bat cave craft, since we learned that bats love to sleep in caves. We also sorted words that rhymed with or did not rhyme with bat, played some bat math games, made our own bat caves, and learned all about the -at word family. In math, we enjoyed counting groups of 6-10. Our favorite part about the week was meeting Mr. Munch, who is helping us learn more about letters and sounds. Enjoy the pictures!
