Community Helpers

We had a fun week learning about community helpers!  We did many activities to help us learn about people in the community and the jobs they have to help us.  The highlight of our week was dressing up as community helpers and having some of our parents and relatives come in and tell us about their jobs.  Thanks to everyone who made it such a success!  Enjoy the pictures!

Snowmen and Sh

This week we continued with our winter and snow theme!  Our favorite thing was using "magic snowman paint" to make a melted snowman.  Then we wrote what made him melt.  We made some scary sharks to help us learn a new sound - sh!  Our sharks went around the room and ate fish with sh words on them.  We also wrote sentences about our favorite thing to do in the winter time.
