This week, we studied some symbols of America. We focused on the Bald Eagle, Liberty Bell, the White House, and the Statue of Liberty We read several informational books this week about the symbols and practiced listening for information and writing about it. For math, we focused on the partners of 10! Enjoy the pictures!
This week, we learned about the symbols of Utah! We talked about the state flower, animal, bird, fish, tree, and more. We did some informational writing and enjoyed learning about some famous places and landmarks in Utah as well. We learned that Utah is called the "Beehive State" and made our own beehives. We made fun maps with special things from Utah on them. And also made our state bird, a seagull! Enjoy the pictures!
