Merry Christmas!

We had an enjoyable two days together doing lots of fun Christmas-themed learning activities!  We also had our school sing-along and our class Polar Express Day on Tuesday.  The kids had a wonderful, magical time.  Thank you all for sending things in so our activity was a success!  Enjoy the pictures and the rest of your Christmas break!

Homophones, Living and Non-Living, Doubles, and Christmas Fun!

Even though the kids are just a little excited for Christmas to be around the corner, we managed to sneak in one more week of learning!  This week we learned what a homophone is, (words that sound the same, but are spelled different).  We worked on the "ch" sound for spelling.  We learned the characteristics of living things during science time.  And we worked on learning our "doubles" facts in math!  We also did many fun Christmas-themed centers and some fun creative Christmas writing.  Enjoy the pictures!
