This week, we did a non-fiction unit on turkeys. We learned several facts about turkeys, what their life cycle is, and what special body parts they have. We thought it was so fun to find out turkeys can change their head color depending on their mood. We made a turkey craft and also learned how to draw a turkey. We are becoming great little artists and writers! Enjoy the pictures!
This week we did some fun things with pumpkins! We matched capital and lowercase letters, listened for beginning sounds in words, and wrote about our favorite thing to do with a pumpkin. We designed our own different looking pumpkin and wrote words to describe it. We learned about the parts of a pumpkin after cracking a pumpkin open and made our own pumpkin craft. We wrote about what we like to do best with a pumpkin. And we learned how a pumpkin grows and about its lifecycle. Enjoy the pictures!
