We had a fun week learning about community helpers! We did many activities to help us learn about people in the community and the jobs they have to help us. The highlight of our week was dressing up as community helpers and having some of our parents and family members come and tell us about their jobs! Thanks to everyone who made it such a success! This week our theme was winter. We did some fun winter learning games at centers where we got to feed penguins food by listening to the vowel sound and we went ice fishing with math facts. We made some shark puppets to help us learn a new sound: sh! Our sharks went around the room and ate fish with sh words on them. In math, we continued working on teen numbers, specifically seeing them as a group of ten and ones. We also learned about maps and why they are important and made our own map. Enjoy the pictures!
