This week we did all sorts of fun things with fall leaves! We read stories about leaves and wrote what we would do if we were a leaf. Lots of us thought it would be fun to change colors, fly away in the wind, or be raked into a leaf pile. We played some fun alphabet games with leaf piles. We turned a leaf into an animal. We also wrote about what we see in the fall. In math, we learned and practiced more and less. Enjoy the pictures!
We are working on rhyming at school and had some fun with Nursery Rhymes this week. We learned Humpty Dumpty and wrote what we would do to put Humpty back together again. We made a funny rhyme flip book, where we combined two rhyming words to make a nonsense word like, "beetree" or "catbat." We learned The Itsy Bitsy Spider and made a fun project with a "real" spider and waterspout. We had our fun Nursery Rhyme day on Thursday and the kids did a great job! Enjoy the pictures!
