This week we read several versions of the Gingerbread Man story. We had fun comparing and contrasting the different stories! We made puppets to retell the story, decorated a gingerbread man to look like something new, and thought of a plan to trap a gingerbread man. Enjoy the pictures!
We had a great time in school the last week and a half doing fun things with turkeys, pumpkin pie, and all things Thanksgiving! We have been working on learning that vowels have two sounds and reading and writing CVC words (i.e. cat, mop). We wrote about who we would like to invite to Thanksgiving dinner and why. We made our hand-prints into turkeys and wrote 5 things we are thankful for. We made a thankful bracelet that represented things we were thankful for as well. We practiced sentence writing with what we could eat for Thanksgiving dinner. Enjoy the pictures!
